2021: Beginning of development of a source of secondary power supply

JSC Kalugapribor in the cooperations with JSC KEMZ entering into Avtomatika Concern of State Corporation Rostec started development of a series of powerful sources of secondary power supply for different server and telecommunication equipment. The Concern reported about it on January 28, 2021. Sources will have completely digital control that positively affects as energy efficiency of a product with all load range, and on its cost value, and application of the hardware-software platform will allow to unify all product line and to accelerate the term of their development and deployment.

Within the current legislation RUSSIAN FEDERATION regarding the accepted packet of the laws "About Counteraction to Terrorism" operators communications and organizers information storages in network internet are obliged to store large volumes of data in special storage systems data (DWH), entered in the Unified register of the Russian radio-electronic products. Also according to Governments of the Russian Federation Resolution No. 719 of the requirement to the level of localization of the products and solutions applied in DWH constantly become tougher.

Power sources from Avtomatika Concern are developed according to all international requirements, in particular, have an energy efficiency class not below Platinum (according to standard 80 Plus), a possibility of reservation and hot swap, remote control of parameters, logging of emergency situations and overvoltage protection and overheating.

One of important components of DWH are power sources, for January, 2021 in the civil market there are no domestic analogs of such devices. Besides, the quantity of the industries in which storage and processing of data bulks is required grows every year, along with it the population share using products of this type increases. The power sources created by our Kaluga enterprises on the basis of the digital hardware-software Titanium platform can occupy this niche. We already have preorders from several large companies working in the field of processing and storage systems, - the CEO of Avtomatika Concern Vladimir Kabanov comments.
