The corporation Western Digital Corp. announced on January 29, 2021 implementation together with the company Qumulo, the specialist in the field of solutions for file management in hybrid cloud environments, the partner project within the activities for development of the architecture allowing to solve the major global problems with the help data, for implementation of the HDD- the drives Ultrastar DC HC550 on 18 TB and SSD- drives Ultrastar DC SN640 with support of NVMe in Institute of measurement of indicators and assessment of the state of health (Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation, IHME), executing operational researches of new koronavirusny infection (COVID-19) and programs vaccination.
