Vniitransmash (1C: Accounting 8)

The office "AVROBUS" of 1C: Accounting and Trade company (BIT) completed product introduction "BIT: Management of project budgets of Research and Development" (based on "1C: Accounting 8") in the All-Russian Research Institute of transport mechanical engineering (Vniitransmash). A system allowed to control quickly income and expenses by orders of Research and Development and to timely make necessary management decisions at emergence of deviations from planned targets. In a project deliverable terms and labor costs are reduced by carrying out plan-fact cost analysis under agreements, costs for accounting are reduced.

Vniitransmash is founded in 1949 based on the plant creating tanks and self-propelled artillery cannons in days of the Great Patriotic War. Now the institute is complex research center of transport mechanical engineering. The enterprise is engaged:

• for city and railway transport – creation of backlash-free coupling devices, traveling power absorber circuits, traction and brake modules for laying of contact lines, current collectors for electric trains;
• for the enterprises of Gazprom – creation of the direct-flow combined cyclones for air purification in compressors and plants;
• for the enterprises of the mining industry – creation of crushing and shredding machines on processing of solid mineral raw materials;
• creation of military track laying vehicles, the chassis of planet research vehicles, the equipment for space * followings;

• climatic tests of transport vehicles at influence of temperatures from - 600C to + 700C with a relative humidity from 20 to 100%.

Before implementation of "1C:Enterprise 8" in Vniitransmash the integrated information system of own development was used. Software tools did not provide formation of the regulated reporting in the automatic mode. At transfer of an accounting system to the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform it was required to automate obtaining reports, having saved at the same time a job order cost accounting method on Research and Development which was fulfilled at the enterprise for many years.

Having analyzed experience of automation of these tasks and proposed solutions, the management Vniitransmash addressed to office "AVROBUS" of 1C: Accounting and Trade company (BIT). Specialists of "AVROBUS" conducted examination of accounting of institute according to the results of which for project implementation the program "BIT was selected: Management of project budgets of Research and Development". It provided an optimal implementation time (about 5 months), thanks to flexibility and configurability of the solution and also allowed to automate obtaining actual data on payments and costs from the database of accounting.

Specialists of "AVROBUS" gave consulting support to employees Vniitransmash at implementation. As a result of system implementation for order management of Research and Development the following sections are automated:

• planning and the cost accounting by orders and divisions contractors;
• data acquisition about cost value of orders and projects in general;
• planning and control of a payment receipt on agreement stages;
• planning and control of payments to the external organizations collaborators;
• control of the actual execution of each stage (under acts);
• control of the actual execution of each order (on actually performed works);
• planning and accounting of actual overheads with breakdown by divisions (the estimate on overheads);
• control of payment of accounts of suppliers and buyers.

The management Vniitransmash notes reduction of terms of formation of managerial reports. Before implementation of an automated system drawing up the summary reporting under costs and payments by orders happened to a delay to three weeks. If additional detailing was required, it was necessary to send a new request and to wait for it processing. It led to essential delays in decision making. Now the reporting is prepared in a foreground mode that allowed to react to the arising deviations from planned targets in time and to timely make necessary management decisions.

Transparent accounting of works allows to control more effectively joint work of divisions of institute and external collaborators.

Now specialists of "AVROBUS" conduct remote maintenance of a system and consultation of users.
