2020: PIX RPA Implementation
On February 1, 2021, NFP announced the implementation of the PIX RPA platform in the Globe hypermarket network.
In mid-2020, NFP developers based on the PIX RPA robotization platform of PICS Robotics began to optimize business processes at the Globe international retailer. Work was carried out in stages, including procedures for synchronizing data in accounting systems, getting rid of the manual work of employees of various departments.
Deliveries in the company are recorded in several information systems. As a result, the process was delayed or turned out to be suboptimal in terms of the disposal of the main resource.
The implementation of PIX RPA has made the synchronization process of information systems more efficient. Using RPA as a "data bus" between systems is a common way of using software robots. An adaptive RPA algorithm was used that works faster than standard synchronization cycles. PIX RPA wins in cost and implementation speed compared to the standard automation method using "hard code."
According to the customer's feedback, in 2 months it was possible to speed up the synchronization process between systems. The process of accruing bonuses/fines to suppliers in the company has also become easier and more transparent after optimization. The procedure itself has become adaptive and flexible, the PIX robot has made it possible to eliminate human errors.
"The main task in implementing the project was to test RPA technology. See how stable this solution is and determine within the company what range of tasks we can solve using this technology. We continue to develop RPA in the company and analyze what other potential processes the robot could perform. We actively work with business divisions and tell them about technology, also developing competence within the company, "said Timofey Buryak, head of the business processes department of the Globus hypermarket network. |
