2021: Start of service of check of a document package of foreign citizens

The multifunction migration center of Moscow started electronic service of check of a document package of foreign citizens on a design of permissions to temporary residence, the residence permit, acceptance in citizenship of the Russian Federation, the Complex of economic policy and the property and land relations of Moscow reported about it on February 2, 2021 according to the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Yefimov.

Electronic service considerably simplifies the procedure of verification of the documents necessary for obtaining the official status by foreign citizens for residence in Russia. In the test mode service functioned since spring of 2020, during this time the service was received by about six thousand people. For February, 2021 the service earned in the normal mode, also the procedure of electronic check is complemented with an option on execution of the statement that in the long term can become a demanded alternative of personal filing of application at office MMTs — the deputy mayor told.

The scheme of action of service is simple and clear for applicants. The foreign citizen should register a personal account on the MMTs portal, select desirable service (a design of permission to temporary residence, the residence permit, recognition by the native speaker of Russian or acceptance in citizenship of the Russian Federation) and to load scanned copies of necessary documents into service. After the end of verification of documents the employee of MMTs issues an application of the set form, the applicant is offered to select date of a visit to MMTs and to register in acceptance online. The applicant is informed on the course of consideration of the case through a personal account, e-mail and using Sms.

The document package prepared through service practically guarantees reception of an application on receiving service from the first that allows to minimize the number of visits to MMTs. The procedure is paid, at the same time it became only addition to a traditional opportunity to independently fill in the application form, to collect and submit documents for consideration to migration service — the Minister of the Moscow Government, the Head of Department of economic policy and development of the city Kirill Purtov emphasized.
