Contour. Tolk now prepares a summary of the meeting automatically. With the help of neural networks, the communication service compiles a short retelling of the conversation, fixes key theses and decisions made. This was announced on March 6, 2025 by the general director of SKB KonturMikhail Srodnykh.

The Tolka team implements tools that help record the results of working communication. There are more artifacts - the service automatically compiles a summary of the meeting.

The summary consists of key topics that participants discussed. Now it takes a few minutes to prepare a protocol following the meeting or restore the context of the call that was missed. If more details are needed, the decryption, also generated by the neural network, and the recording of the meeting will help.

The user can evaluate the quality of the resume in the service - to rate or write a detailed comment. It is safe to use the neural network: all information is stored in Russia, on the servers of SKB Kontur.

Another tool that helps fix agreements is notes. The meeting participant can make notes for himself, open access to the entire team and enable automatic sending of notes to e-mail. When writing notes, you do not need to switch to other applications - the tool is available in the meeting window, which allows you not to lose the discussion context.

Red OS Compatibility

Red Software specialists tested both the cloud and server versions of Tolka. The service has confirmed that it is working successfully on devices with Red OS. The results were confirmed by certificates of conformity. SKB Kontur announced this on January 20, 2025.

Now Red OS users can safely hold online meetings and work in teams using completely domestic software. This is relevant for both government organizations and businesses that care about digital security.

"Contour. Tolk" will help remotely control air conditioning and lighting in the office. In particular, employees will be able to monitor the meeting and control the devices in the meeting room using a tablet. The opportunity is implemented in Tolk-Kiosk, an application for conducting hybrid meetings from meeting and conference rooms. The update allows you to combine the service with smart devices - equipment that can receive commands from the external environment, representatives of the SKB Kontur company said on August 15, 2024.

The Kontur Tolk "development project includes four main areas. The first concerns improvements related to ensuring security for large customers. The second is aimed at improving video and sound quality, service optimization and infrastructure improvements. The third involves the creation of a free tariff to increase the recognition of the product. The fourth area focuses on the development of security tools and the possibility of local deployment of the product.

The project plans to implement a number of new features, including support for meta-applications, a streaming platform and an educational system. Particular attention will be paid to the development of artificial intelligence modules for automatic decoding of the text of conversations.

The audience of Kontur Tolk exceeds 500 thousand people, and traffic has grown 5.5 times since 2022. The project is preparing to launch another tool to work in the team - "White Boards." The solution allows you to make records during meetings, create diagrams and visualize processes. The boards are integrated into the service and will soon become available to Contour employees. After testing within the company, customers will also be able to use the tool.

Contour. Tolk expands opportunities for international meetings. The Simultaneous Translation option allows you to hold online conferences with clients and partners who speak foreign languages. When a translator is connected to the meeting, he can synchronously translate the speech of the speakers, and the participants can choose which language to listen to the meeting.

In parallel, the direction of artificial intelligence is developing: the project team is working on creating a prototype translation model without the participation of an interpreter. Another neural network model, the prototype of which is ready, creates a summary of the meeting. AI highlights the highlights of the conversation and draws up in text format, after which the file is sent to the participants. Also, the service team is working on a neural network model that improves the lighting of the speaker at the meeting.
