Raccoon.World is the Ukrainian medical technical-startup developing technologies which help people to be recovered from injuries and neurologic diseases without visiting the rehabilitation center. Raccoon.World cooperates with organizations of physical rehabilitation and insurance companies. The startup provides the digital platform using which patients can undergo far off rehabilitation after injuries and transactions.
The digital Raccoon.Recovery platform allows specialists in physical therapy to construct a course of treatment completely online — from inspection of a status of the patient to creation of a rate from game exercises and monitoring of progress. During exercises of Raccoon.World provides sensors for tracking of movements of the patient (or instead of them the patient can use own smartphone).
History
2021: Receiving a grant in the amount of 660 thousand euros
At the end of January, 2021 it became known of receiving a grant by the company in the amount of 660 thousand euros within the Fast Track to Innovation program of the EU. Means will go for further development of the platform, clinical trials and certification of the updated product, Zdrav.expert in the company told.
Under the terms of the agreement, Raccoon.World will receive means four tranches within two years. Each following tranche is performed at a supply condition of the reporting under previous. The size of a tranche depends on tasks for according to the plan development of the project.
Earlier Raccoon.World attracted 900 thousand euros investments within a round of sowing financing. The Quarter Partners fund which invested 625 thousand euros acted as the main investor. The Ukrainian startup intends to spend these funds for expansion of business in Germany and Poland and also on scaling of work in the European Union countries and Asia. Money will also be spent for development of functionality of a new product and carrying out additional clinical trials.[1]
By the beginning of February, 2021 the rehabilitation Raccoon.Recovery platform is available in Poland and Germany, specified Zdrav.expert in a startup.
