Uzcard started payment USSD services on the platform of the Russian developer WINGS. About it became izvsetno on February 4, 2020.

The solution allows to make payment of services, to manage autopayments, to make a transfer and requests of money, to check balance, etc. This payment service expanded opportunities for the clients, having offered the updated mobile application of MyUzcard working through USSD at unavailability of the Internet.

In the uniform interactive USSD menu for Uzcard the main, often used commands were integrated. The user should not remember an USSD command for each transaction and to spend time for its set. For movement on points it is necessary to click digits, according to the displayed text. Also in the USSD menu the functionality of adding, blocking and removal of cards, change of the PIN code was implemented.

SMS notifications from Uzcard are processed by Play Mobile company - the representative of the market of mobile informing in Uzbekistan.

Problems of loading of network, variable quality of a covering, existence of zones with lack of a covering, the poor signal and other situations influencing an Internet access are relevant always. The staff of VINGS company adapted the USSD menu that allowed to use it in MyUzcard at unavailability of the Internet. For users of mobile application transition to offline the mode is not noticeable. Functions which are not implemented in the USSD menu upon transition to offline the mode become inactive in the application.

The USSD technology is convenient for work with the services having dialogue structure. USSD service is available to all phone models, even classical button. USSD requests are executed free of charge, the USSD menu works even at negative balance and in roaming. For connection of the WINGS platform to cellular operators the SMPP and SIGTRAN protocols are used. Cellular operators prefer connection on SIGTRAN if they have no USSD gateway or if they have restrictions for its use. Thereby operators are saved from need to buy the equipment or to buy in addition licenses for the USSD gateway.

Use of SIGTRAN allows to manage more flexibly traffic (for example, timeouts of USSD sessions that is important during the work with long USSD requests) and to bypass limits on the number of connections to the USSD portal. The WINGS company was selected from quality of the contractor as already had experience of development of USSD services for national payment systems.
