Conteq announced on February 4, 2021 implementation of Microsoft 365 in 70 countries of the world in JTI company.

Japan Tobacco International (JTI) delivers the products for February, 2021 to clients to more than 130 countries of the world, and the staff of the company totals over 44 thousand employees working in each time zone. Within upgrade of the opportunities and platforms and also for ensuring steady growth and cost optimization, JTI was faced the need to quickly implement other ERP solution

With the purpose to reduce the term of transition of 10 thousand users from more than 70 countries of the world by the updated ERP solution, the JTI company began to use a cloud packet of office applications of Microsoft 365.

About 2000 people from 70 countries of the world participated in the project on implementation of ERP – systems. This project included 8200 general tasks and 17000 unique tasks.

Use of Microsoft 365 allowed JTI to receive services: Microsoft Teams SharePoint Project Online Power Platform – without essential costs and difficult setup. And thanks to the reports created in Power BI all employees could watch the general progress of implementing solution. Also all users far off received necessary information through mobile application based on Power Apps that improved interaction worldwide in real time.

Thanks to Microsoft Teams, Project Online and Power Platform of the company it was succeeded to establish cooperation of commands from the different countries, to optimize and systematize process on implementation of the ERP solution and to provide its one-time start at offices of the company worldwide.

The previous implementations were executed in turn in each country. Using SharePoint as library of documents, we could provide centralized operation with project data through Project Online — Anton Hodakov, the manager of projects of JTI explains. — The plan of tasks for each country was integrated into Teams, and through Power Automate worker threads therefore employees could come into Teams were configured and note the carried-out or approved tasks. It was reflected in the main panel in Power BI therefore progress of implementation was visible to all.

Also users far off obtained information through Power Apps that improved interaction worldwide in real time, and the Azure functions were used for cloud integration of tools.
