2021: Transfer of printing to outsourcing

Konica Minolta announced on February 2, 2021 project implementation of transfer to outsourcing of printing of office of SRV concern in St. Petersburg. Thanks to optimization, service and software products, the park of the printing office equipment was reduced by 77%, and costs for printing decreased on a quarter.

The SRV concern works in Finland, the Baltics and Russia. In the territory of our country for February, 2021 SRV implemented more than 70 projects in St. Petersburg, the Moscow region, Kaliningrad, the Kaluga region and other regions.

Optimization of printing infrastructure and regeneration of the park of multi-function printers became a main objective of the project. Earlier in SRV company the MFP of three different vendors which developed the resource over time were installed. In exchange Konica Minolta delivered full-color printing devices of the bizhub c250i A3 format.

The bizhub c250i model has a print speed of 25 pages per minute in the mode of both color, and black-and-white printing. The touchpad of management with nine-inch diagonal simplifies interaction of users with the device: it has intuitive navigation and structure of the menu. Also among key functions — mobile printing in one click from smartphones and tablets.

On devices the complete solution for infrastructure management of printing and document flow of YSoft SafeQ 6 is set. The platform provides the advanced security level due to function of the protected printing. And thanks to the Follow-me function the user can send the document to printing from any office MFP. The solution is easily scaled and can flexibly be configured depending on the customer's wishes.

We were faced by the important purpose — to replace outdated printing devices with more relevant models which could meet business needs better. The reliable partner was necessary for achievement of the goal, and Konica Minolta became it. As a result we managed to lower load of IT department, and now technical specialists can be engaged in more profile tasks — Roman Gaydukov, the Chief information officer of SRV company notes.

In SRV company bizhub c250i MFPs were installed. Devices of a line help to reduce resource consumption — so and to reduce expenses. Within the project we managed to reduce costs for printing for 25% — Valeria Makarevich, the manager with key customers of Konica Minolta Business Solutions Russia comments. — Thanks to the set program obepecheniye of Y-Soft SafeQ, printing is performed on preliminary authorization according to cards that provides higher level of information security. And printing of the task sent by mistake can be cancelled on the MFP. Employees from the customer noted these functions as the most convenient according to the results of the project.
