ER-Telecom Holding to introduce digital solutions and services in Salavat

2021: Regional Telecommunications Infrastructure Development Plans

ER-Telecom Holding JSC and the administration of the urban district of the city of Salavat of the Republic of Bashkortostan signed an agreement on the development of regional telecommunications infrastructure. This was announced by ER-Telecom on February 2, 2021.

The documents were signed by Igor Mironov, Head of the Administration of the urban district of the city of Salavat of the Republic of Bashkortostan and Ivan Yagupov, Interregional Director of the Southern Urals of ER-Telecom Holding JSC.

As part of the agreements, the company plans to introduce digital solutions and services on the territory of Salavat aimed at improving the comfort and safety of local residents, including the modernization of street lighting using the latest technologies ("Smart Light") and the provision of special hardware and software complexes for pedestrian crossings that reduce the number of traffic accidents involving pedestrians ("Smart pedestrian crossing").

In addition to services based on the industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) for energy facilities and housing and communal services, it is also planned to integrate elements of the Smart City system into the existing regional IT infrastructure, which will increase its reliability and efficiency.

Our main goal is to make Salavat a comfortable city for living in the Republic of Bashkortostan. And of course, the introduction of technologies in the management of energy, infrastructure of housing and communal services and road farms is an important step in its achievement.
