2021: Creation of a uniform cloud monitoring system and management of leasing

On February 9, 2021 "Laboratory of Smart Driving" (LSD) reported that it together with the representative of the Far East leasing market "Universal Leasing Company" (ULC) conducts work on the project on creation of a uniform cloud monitoring system and management of leasing on the basis of Connected Cars technology. Important feature of this system will be the fact that not only normal vehicles, but also special equipment will be connected to a cloud. Development of this technology and adaptation it for needs of ULK creates base for implementation of programs of "smart" leasing.

A system for ULK will be based on hardware-software developments of LUV: module "Element" and cloud online platform. Besides, for each separate type of the equipment additional sensors with the corresponding program and analytical functionality can be added. It will allow to carry out remote diagnostics of technical condition, to estimate safety of operation and to control location and escape of certain geozones.

IT infrastructure on which we work together with LUV will be gradually filled with "smart" leasing products. Thanks to bigger transparency we will be able to offer – to find in our customer relations it the adapted model of operation of an object of leasing optimal balance, taking into account their tasks and our risks.

"Smart programs" of leasing allow to create conditions under specific customer requirements. Such product as from cubes gathers from separate parameters – the maximum run, the maximum time of daily operation, restriction on geozones, temperature conditions, storage conditions, etc. It allows to predict very precisely degree of wear of an object of leasing and risks of its breakdown or failure. As a result the client of the company of the lessor can receive significantly more advantageous conditions, without overpaying for risks and wear which are not assumed by its activity.

The functionality of a monitoring system allows to control a big range of parameters of operation which can extend depending on needs of the customer. Basic set of parameters: movement routes, a run, fuel level, a run to TO, messages about faults and the security level of driving. All this information is available online 24 hours a day to all parties of the transaction that simplifies the dispute resolution. At the same time the lessee together with object of leasing purchases a ready control and management system for the vehicle fleet.

Important feature of our project with ULK is mass "connection" of the special construction equipment and heavy trucks. These are very expensive assets on which operating conditions risks of the lessor and insurance payments directly depend. We observe a situation when, taking such objects in leasing, the company is forced to pay on average risks assessment, actually paying others "jambs" and requirements. In the conditions of the Far East and Siberia where construction, transportations and a roadwork are often conducted in extreme conditions, it is especially relevant. We create a system which will allow ULK to regulate it at first that is called according to the current indications, and in process of accumulation and data analysis to build the system of scoring under tasks of each client.

Use of telemetry allows to recover circumstances of road accident precisely: dynamics of acceleration or braking before collision, the speed and provision of the car. In a case with serious incidents with special equipment the same algorithm works – it is possible to trace that preceded an event. It significantly simplifies work on insurance settlement, accelerates repair of equipment and its return to a system.
