2021: Placement of IT capacities in a cloud

Cloud4Y announced on February 10, 2021 transfer to a cloud of Kinoiskatel service.

The film finder – a young startup which offers service of free search of movies and series on the largest online movie theaters. In search result the prices of purchase or lease of movies are displayed. Search is performed on Wink, Okko, ivi, Netflix and other popular online movie theaters which list is regularly replenished.

As service young, is not present exact understanding of its actual demand by the market yet. From here also uncertainty with load of IT infrastructure follows. It can grow as gradually, and after the exhibitor. To guarantee high-quality work of service under any conditions, the startup made the decision to use a cloud platform of Cloud4Y for placement of the capacities on the IaaS model.

Proceeding from the current tasks, the company itself defines necessary number of cores, amount of memory, the size and quantity of disks, the operating system. The virtual server can be constructed both on the Windows platform, and on Linux. The cloud saves the company from need to overpay for equipment downtime and reducing risk of failures at sudden increase in loading.

For February, 2021 in a cloud of Cloud4Y there is a frontend, databases and API for search of movies, all this is orchestrated by Kubernetes. In Kinoiskatel's plans development of service that will demand also development of infrastructure. The cloud solution allows to be scaled easily and without excess costs that is especially important for startups and the small companies.
