On February 11, 2021, Tekom announced the implementation of a project to introduce its own ORBOX software product on the NTV federal television channel. The system solves the task of automated verification of the technical parameters of the channel's media content.

The file control system ORBOX was delivered by NTV as part of a comprehensive technical modernization of the channel, which was carried out by the WINDOWS-TV system integrator. ORBOX was built into the working processes of the television company's software management, which conducts the acceptance of materials from internal and external content providers. According to NTV regulations, all materials must undergo a quality check before being imported into the file exchange system and then the MAM (Media Asset Management) system from Dalet. As of February 2021, this check takes place automatically thanks to ORBOX.

To implement ORBOX in the channel infrastructure, Tekom implemented the possibility of installing servers analysis on. operating system Ubuntu Also, the company's specialists configured ORBOX hot backup so that the system automatically continues to operate on the standby server in the event of a failure of the main server.

The ORBOX file control system has a set of pre-configured tests for checking audio, video, and metadata. For the convenience of the end user, combinations of various tests can be applied as ready-made templates. The report on the results of each file check is available in several formats, and the built-in media player allows for a more detailed analysis of video defects. In addition to analyzing files for possible scrap, ORBOX has a volume correction function in order to comply with legislative standards.
