2021: Implementation of the VR simulator ProfPass at the Siburinteha site
On March 3, 2021 the Geym Systems company reported about the first introduction of the ProfPass VR exercise machine (VR Immersive Learning) which took place in September, 2020 on the platform of Siburintech - the Center of development of technical examination of SIBUR Holding.
The ProfPass platform is based on a VR simulator with an integrated system of assessments of the cognitive and psychoemotional indicators of the user. According to representatives of Game Systems, ProfPass can be called a joint product with SIBUR, since only practical work determines the feasibility of product development.
Great help in the process of creating the ProfPass was provided by the Siburintekh methodologist Kirilin Vitaly Sergeevich, at the heart of his approach to the development of simulators is the Kolba cycle. It was after his comments that the process of repainting the methodology of educational material into an effective structure for submitting lessons began.
In order for the platform to work in full force, it is still necessary to introduce the remote module "VR Department," to finalize the module for neuroassessment of ProfNeuro.
The pandemic also made adjustments, delaying both the launch of ProfPass and the readiness of new modules.
In a number of works, it has been shown that non-invasive methods of studying the brain make it possible to confirm a person's sports professionalism, having experience in a certain area, and his loyalty to the type of activity. Also, electroencephalographic methods can help in determining a person's predisposition to some activity, and identify qualities that can be important for specific professions. The idea of training such professionally important qualities remains attractive, and this is one of the main goals of studying their physiological (including neurophysiological) manifestation, "said Game Systems. - In our research, we set ourselves the task to form a methodology for biometric assessment of professionally important qualities and skills of subjects, as well as to organize the possibility of training these skills using virtual reality technologies in combination with modern neurotechnological solutions. Our goal is to create a full-fledged complex for testing and training professionals from different fields, which would allow you to accurately, reliably and as objectively as possible form a professional portrait of the user, recommend him a future kind of activity or/and a training program of skills important for his chosen profession. In the near future, we plan to carry out work to expand the tested professional-important qualities, as well as create narrower specialization programs aimed at testing representatives of professions included in the first composition of the ProfPass simulator installed in Siburintekh. |
