Customers: Intersection Trading House

Project date: 2020/07  - 2020/12

2021: End-to-End PLM Implementation

The Crossroads retail network announced on February 19, 2021 that it had developed and implemented the end-to-end product lifecycle management system Product Lifecycle Management (PLMX), which is used to manage the network's own trademarks (STM). It is expected that the PLMX system will reduce the launch time for new CTO products by 38%.

The PLMX system allows you to track and administer the launch of new products under your own brands throughout the life cycle: from the moment you create an idea for the product and study its details to getting on the supermarket shelf and collecting sales analytics. In a convenient interface, all products with current statuses and tasks, economic indicators and the necessary analytics are collected. The system also includes the storage of key documents and various reference data.

In addition to direct employees of the retail network, the system through the "Dialog.X5" platform in the near future will include manufacturers of goods, branding and audit agencies, as well as laboratories in which the launched products undergo quality control.

The product was developed and launched by its own product team. The first version of the PLMX system was launched in pilot mode in November 2020 on 275 products of its own brands of the network. Already in December, seven goods were launched for sale with its help. In February 2021, about 600 goods that are at the launch stage will be connected to the system. In the future, it is planned that PLMX will include all products of its own brands, including those that are already on the shelf.

"Over the past 2 years, the share of STM in Perekrestok has grown 2 times, and 2020 has become a record year for the increase in the share of STM in sales. We believe that the development of this direction is the future, "said Sergey Filippov, director of development of his own trademarks of the Perekrestok trade network. - Many retailers prefer to use the solutions of contractors available on the market, adjusting their working documentation and processes for them. This approach does not allow you to develop your processes and adapt them to the constantly changing needs of the market, so we decided to go from the tasks of the network and developed our own system, which will allow you to bring to the market quality and useful products of brands such as "SoundCollection" or "Green Line" as soon as possible.
