DPC Telekhaus

Telehouse - a trademark of the distributed data center of Pipe Metallurgic Company-Telekhaus company started in June, 2008 with the assistance of City-Telecom Ltd company in the territory of MMDTs "Moscow City". The project includes Telekhaus-1 and Telekhaus-2. The data center meets the international standards of the telecommunication industry, has reliable communication channels and guarantees conditions for continuous work of server and telecommunication equipment of clients. The platform is combined with all objects of MMDTs "Moscow CITY" communication fiber lines. There is a possibility of direct connection to network points of communication of M9 and M10 that allows to organize most effectively the necessary number of channels for connection to any telecom operator and delivery of traffic from information resources in the Russian and international networks.

Business model

Demand for services of placement of servers grows quicker for today, than emergence of new platforms. In addition, a current problem for Moscow is need of search of the place for construction of data center with high-quality power supply. Currently in Moscow there is a set of data centers in which it is possible to place the servers and other telecommunication equipment. At the same time often the consumer should use services of that provider in the territory of whom the platform is placed. Telehouses are designed to solve this problem, by a connectivity to any telecom operators at the request of the client.

Infrastructure

The telehouse-1 located in the territory of the Northern Tower business center has at the disposal of 60 racks. The telehouse-2, is located in the territory of TPM "Bagration" and expected 20 racks. To summer of 2009 it is going to increase capacities putting into operation of the 2nd queue of an object of Telekhaus-1 up to 65 racks.

High reliability of functioning of Telekhaus is reached thanks to use of advanced technologies in the system of power supply, conditioning, fire and physical security. Infrastructure allows to provide to clients information services with the greatest possible quality, the most advanced stage of safety of data and their protection against unauthorized access.
