Astra Linux will create a training center based on the College of Communications No. 54 named after P.M. Vostrukhin

2021: Plans to introduce Astra Linux training programs into the educational process

On the basis of college there will be a specialized training center, laboratories will equip with the operating room sistemoyastra Linux, teachers will receive methodical materials, will be trained, and the program for students will include studying the Russian OS, certification, training and practicians from vendor.

In the framework of cooperation until the end of June 2021. with the participation of specialists of the Astra Linux Group of Companies, research and updating of the main professional educational programs will be carried out, as well as an expert assessment of the educational material and technical base - methodological materials and the necessary software - for its modernization. Next, it is planned to form training programs for the Astra Linux OS, which will provide an advanced level of training for specialists.

According to the memorandum, Astra Linux specialists will not only help create optimal conditions for training Russian products, but will also take an active part in the educational process. Their competence included monitoring and evaluation of the quality of training of specialists: coordination of topics of examination works and control and measuring materials, review of educational programs and participation of the vendor's representative as chairman in the state final certification and in qualification exams.

As a result of the training, students will receive certificates confirming their competence in the field of working with Astra Linux solutions, and the most successful will undergo an internship with the vendor and his partners.

In addition to the main areas of cooperation, within the framework of the college's social partnership with educational institutions in Moscow, it is planned to open IT classes as part of the Astra School project in more than 150 schools in Moscow.

This partnership is an extremely important milestone in creating the younger generation of IT professionals. Cooperation with the College of Communications will not only allow applying our expertise in transferring educational institutions to Russian software, it will form students' interest in domestic products directly from the school bench. College students have the opportunity to get the required competencies in Russian solutions, with which they will have to work in the future, improving and increasing our experience, and graduates - to significantly expand their career opportunities, "said Fedor Kirdyashov, director of the education department of Astra Linux Group of Companies.
