Having purchased Salesforce.com, the Google company has an opportunity to enter quickly the market of the corporate software and to get access to funds of business users, the western experts predict.

Still the Google company was not a strong contender in the market of the corporate software. Its e-mail Gmail achieved certain success in business, however the paid version of the Google service of Apps did not become too successful as Google still did not report how many clients purchased this application package.

Having assumed that the Google company really wants to receive a part of the market of the corporate software why Google not to purchase Salesforce.com? When case concerns the SaaS-applications, Salesforce.com is more successful than other competitors. Salesforce.com really is able to sell business applications whereas Google is only going to study it, PCWorld writes. Besides, thanks to the agreement signed in 2008, the packet of Google Apps is already integrated with the Salesforce.com applications.

Moreover, there is one more evidence of rapprochement of interests of these two companies. It is similar to the agreement signed last month between VMware and Salesforce.com about a possibility of start of Java applications on a cloud platform of Force.com, VMware and Google announced a similar opportunity for the Google App Engine platform (Java applications already work on Google App Engine, but the agreement with VMware simplifies their migration).

Meanwhile large business is not going to do any basic movements to a cloud, unless only it will be the platform for developers. Now Force.com is an excellent cloud platform, Google App Engine only "gets on feet", but has at the same time huge resources. It is only possible to provide that will be if possibilities of these platforms integrate.

Google applications of Docs compete with Microsoft Office Web Apps. However Marc Benioff (Mark Benioff), the CEO of Salesforce.com, called into question recent release of office products of Microsoft which includes also the free web version. According to Mr. Benioff, the web version of Office 2010 is attempt of Microsoft to add to a product of new "cloud" opportunities, however it failed. This false cloud.

Let's remind that last week Microsoft filed a lawsuit against Salesforce.com, having accused her of violation of nine patents concerning its CRM system. Commenting on this situation, Marc Benioff called Microsoft by "the patent troll" and expressed a regret that the former leader of the industry is involved in this case.

Now Google is not present at all at the market of business applications which, according to researches of AMR Research company, is estimated approximately at 60 billion dollars. Salesforce.com claims that ee CRM solutions were selected by 72500 companies. If Google wants to receive a part of the market of the corporate software, then, according to experts, Google can purchase Salesforce.com.
