As part of the creation of a single digital circuit in healthcare in the region, the laboratory service is being digitalized. To achieve this task, it was necessary to establish interaction between medical organizations and centralized laboratories according to a single standard of data exchange.

During 2020, four large centralized laboratories in the region were gradually integrated with the ODLI service. As of March 2021, 41 medical organizations submit research directions to the ODLI service, and 22 medical institutions exchange results with it. As a laboratory information system, the solution of the company "Bregis" is used. In 2021, it is planned to connect all medical organizations of the Arkhangelsk region to the ODLI service.

Quality laboratory data exchange is an important element of effective health management. With the help of our service, the region gets the opportunity to unite all participants in the study in a single digital field - thus, information becomes available to everyone: doctors, patients, health authorities. As of March 2021, the ODLI service has become an integral part of the single information space in the healthcare sector of the Arkhangelsk region. It provides medical facilities with access to data on research destinations; transmits the results of the tests electronically, even if the referral from the medical organization has been received on paper; provides good analytical capabilities for control of laboratory diagnostics processes.

The system works in full force: more than 4,500 are transmitted to it every day, and taking into account the analyses on COVID-19 - more than 5500 studies. About 96% of applications for research go to the ODLI service in electronic form, which significantly simplifies the work of laboratories.

According to the results of the project, the equipment of medical organizations of the Arkhangelsk region with laboratory information systems is 100%. The processes of barcoding, issuing and processing orders, as well as the routing of biomaterial flows aimed at laboratory diagnostics have been debugged.
