2021: Providing IaaS Infrastructure

Cloud4Y March 11, 2021 announced the provision of IaaS infrastructure to the Moscow Regional Training Center.

In difficult conditions of 2020, the educational institution continued its work, but in other conditions. A significant part of the educational program and other internal processes were transferred online. This entailed an additional burden not so much on employees and students, but also on the internal IT infrastructure. In order to prevent interruption in the training programs, it was necessary to expand and modernize it.

The alternative, and very convenient, was cloud platforms that offered the necessary resources according to the IaaS model. Clouds allow you to migrate painlessly and quickly to a more powerful platform, not investing excessively in equipment, but if necessary being able to increase and reduce the resources consumed. Additionally, cloud service providers provide a higher level of data protection, which is also an important factor for any organization.

It was the security of sensitive data, the speed of migration and the flexibility of the cloud ecosystem that prompted the selection by the Moscow Regional Training Center of the services of the corporate cloud provider Cloud4Y.

As a result of cooperation, the Moscow Regional Training Center received a safe and productive cloud infrastructure according to the IaaS model, which provides comfortable conditions for conducting current online educational programs, as well as creating various forms of communication between teaching staff and students.
