Alexander Yashnik was born in 1975 in Leningrad.

Education

In 1998 he graduated from the St. Petersburg State Academy of Engineering and Economics with a degree in Economist Engineer. In 2000, he received an MBA degree in International Business (Central Connecticut State University, USA).

Career

1995-2006

In 1995-2004 held various positions in banks Russia Armenia Romania,,,. Ukraine

From 2004 to 2006 he worked at the Black Sea Bank for Trade and Development in Greece.

2006

In 2006, he began his career at VTB, where he headed the Office for the Development and Coordination of Corporate Business of Subsidiary Banks of the Department of Subsidiary Banks.

2012-2015

In   2012, he was appointed senior vice president of the Bank of Moscow, where he worked until 2015. In 2015, Yashnik moved to the post of first vice president of the Russian-Venezuelan Eurofinance Mosnarbank.

2021: Appointment of Misr as Head of Russian Representative Office

March 16, 2021 it became known about the appointment of Alexander Yashnik as the new head of the Russian representative office of the Egyptian bank Misr. The labor contract is valid from March 2 after receiving the approval of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, the banker told Interfax.

Commenting on his appointment, Yashnik expressed hope for the restoration of relations between Russia and Egypt and large tactically short-term plans to develop and maintain these relations.
