2021: Baxter AK 98 announcement - hemodialysis systems with the function of connecting to electronic medical cards

In mid-March 2021, Baxter introduced a new generation hemodialysis device - AK 98 with the function of connecting to electronic medical cards. This device offers encrypted two-way communication, allowing the system to extract prescriptions directly from the electronic medical record to simplify the workflow and data processing.

The Baxter AK 98 is designed as a portable and easy-to-use hemodialysis system. The AK 98 includes features such as automatic problem resolution, which allows the set to independently clear alarms after correction and avoid unnecessary haemodialysis stops. In addition, the device has an intuitive configurable interface, a simple configuration process and a stable basic design.
