2021: Implement a global enterprise solution based on Dynamics AX2012 R3

On March 17, 2021, it became known that Azelis Ukraine completed the project for the implementation of the enterprise solution Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 R3. The company OntargIT adapted the system to corporate standards of doing business and performed localization of this solution, according to the requirements of accounting and tax accounting of Ukraine.

As explained, for a long time, to automate the main business processes and maintain local records, the company used 1C, version 7.7. In early 2018, Azelis management decided to introduce a corporate ERP system developed on the basis of Dynamics AX2012 R3 in the Ukrainian office. Particular attention was paid to the requirements for implementation, the need for localization, that is, the system should fully comply with the standards of Ukrainian legislation, including maintenance in the accounting and tax accounting system.

The Customer engaged OntargIT to implement the project. The project team consisted of: the international implementation team from Azelis, which was headed by Pam Reay - Business Process and Project Manager Azelis, the Azelis Ukraine team led by the office director - Elena Klimenko, and the OntargIT team - project manager - Igor Savenko. It was thanks to the coordinated work and interest as a result of all project participants that the implementation and localization of the system was completed in 9 months and launched on May 1, 2019.

The introduction of an enterprise solution enables Azelis Ukraine to function as a whole corporation, unify business technology, provide uniform quality standards in the management of finance and supply chains, information technology and personnel, as well as in the future, will help to gain efficiency from investments in the further development of the system.

The completed localization project covers the following Azelis Ukraine processes specific to Ukraine:

• Cash accounting: complete package of primary documents and reports, accounting of transactions in currency;
• accounting of settlements with suppliers and customers;
• Inventory accounting: complete package of primary documents and reports, accounting of goods in various accounting accounts depending on warehouse, physical inventory, re-sorting;
• Fixed assets: accounting and tax accounting of fixed assets and intangible assets, a complete package of primary documents and reports;
• VAT: VAT accounting for the first event, tax bill, tax invoice, sales book, purchase book, VAT return.

During the project, the implemented enterprise solution was integrated with:

• "M.E.Doc" - reporting system to regulatory authorities of Ukraine
• ReadSoft is a system that is used to scan and process documents (in particular invoices).

The project was difficult for a number of reasons, but on our part we actively joined the work, and provided all kinds of support to the OntargIT team. As of March 2021, all of our records are maintained in corporate Dynamics AX2012.
