The Arbitration Court of the Stavropol Territory ordered KRET to pay 8 million rubles to the regional Ministry of Health for disrupting the supply of IVL devices. The department's lawsuit against Rostec's daughter is partially satisfied.
According to RBC Kavkaz, citing court materials, the Ministry of Health of Stavropol filed a lawsuit against KRET in October 2020. Initially, the amount of claims was 566.6 million rubles, but subsequently it was reduced to 507 million rubles.
KRET was supposed to deliver 312 Aventa-M devices to medical institutions of the Stavropol Territory by September 21, 2020. However, part of the equipment was not shipped by this time, in connection with which the regional Ministry of Health went to court. The lawsuit listed requirements for termination of the state contract, return of the advance amount, payment of a fine and interest on the use of funds.
Representatives of the concern later reported in court that on January 13, 2021, all IVL devices were put into operation, this fact was confirmed by representatives of the Ministry of Health of the region.
The Ministry of Health refused its claims for the return of the amount of the advance payment of 497.1 million rubles (for 267 IVL devices). His demand to pay a penalty of 10.3 million rubles for the overdue fulfillment of obligations provided for by the state contract for the period from September 22, 2020 to January 6, 2021 remained in force. The Arbitration Court of Stavropol reduced this amount to 8.4 million rubles. KRET by March 19, 2021 did not provide comments on the court decision.
The KRETA press service previously recalled that on July 17, 2020, a quadripartite agreement was concluded on the supply of 111 Aventa-M devices in the region as part of a state contract with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation in the amount of 123.2 million rubles. The obligations to supply equipment for the medical institutions of the six municipalities of the district were fully fulfilled.[1]
