2021: S6, S7 and S8
On March 22, 2021, Samsung Electronics introduced a line of monitors. Samsung offers 12 different monitors with proper resolution in three series - S6, S7 and S8. All models play a bright "picture" with more than 1 billion colors and support HDR 10 technology. The image looks clear from any angle due to the wide viewing angle of 178 degrees.
According to the company, the monitors received an Intelligent Eye Care certificate from TUV Rheinland. Adaptive Picture's eye protection technology optimizes image quality for comfortable viewing under all conditions, automatically adjusting brightness and color temperature according to lighting. This reduces the load on the eyes even after prolonged use. Monitors also have a special protection mode to reduce the radiation of harmful blue light, and Flicker Free technology that eliminates flicker on the screen.
The energy efficiency of Eco Saving Plus technology-enabled models has been certified by the Swedish Confederation of Professional Employees (TCO) for next-generation green products, the Electronic Device Environmental Safety Certificate ( EPEAT) and the Energy Star Energy Saving Product Certificate. Eco Saving Plus technology reduces power consumption by 10% by automatically adjusting the brightness of black areas while maintaining image quality.
The S8 model displays a picture in UHD resolution and is available in 27 and 32 inch versions. In addition to supporting definition resolution and more than 1 billion colors, S8 transmits 99% of the sRGB color gamut for brighter content.
The S8 transmits data at 10 Gb/s through the -C port, and the USB S80UA supports charging up to 90 watts. The S8 also has various connection options, including a USB 3.0 USB hub. A flat screen with a "frameless" design makes the monitor work comfortable and minimizes distractions, while providing a practically seamless installation for using two monitors. Interoperability with Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA) mounts and Adjustable Height Stand (HAS) offers various options for controlling the tilt and rotation of the screen, so the display can be installed in the most convenient place, and a thin metal stand and a small depth of the device allow you to get more free space.
The S7 series received a matrix capable of displaying a picture in UHD resolution at a size of 27 and 32 inches, a thin stand, a panel with a wide viewing angle of 178 degrees and a wide coverage of the color scheme sRGB. Practically "frameless" design and the possibility of a comfortable tilt allows the user to focus on his work.
S6 models are available in sizes 34, 32, 27 and 24 inches and support not only QHD resolution (2560 x 1440), but also PBP (picture next to the picture) and PIP (picture-in-picture) functions, which allows you to perform several tasks at the same time. S60UA monitors support Daisy Chain technology for playing images on multiple screens, as well as connection through a LAN cable (compatible with RJ45), which turns them into a full-fledged dock. The built-in Wake On Lan (WOL) feature allows you to remotely turn on your computer from another device.
The 34-inch Ultra-Wide Quad High-Definition (UWQHD) S65UA received a 1000mm bend radius matrix with a 21:9 aspect ratio for optimal multitasking.
