Another priority task facing migration specialists was to increase the level of information security of both server and client components while preserving, as far as possible, the already existing functionality of the systems of the Administration of ZATO Seversk.

The issue of the possibility of certification of information systems "Electronic Interaction" and "Electronic Document Management" was to be resolved. Before the migration, the systems worked in the environment of one of the assemblies of the Windows OS family, which did not meet the requirements of the regulator regarding information security.

Among the barriers that also needed to be overcome during the work was the presence of information system modules operating only under Windows. Another non-standard task was to migrate the source code of server applications to Linux when migrating the server part of the systems.

As a result of the events, Mask Safe specialists, with expert support from the vendor, deployed an IT infrastructure, the server part of which steadily works under the control of the protected operating system Astra Linux Special Edition, and the jobs of operators - employees of the Administration of ZATO Seversk - in the environment of the OS Astra Linux Common Edition. Issues related to the information security of all components of the systems were resolved, while it was possible to preserve the functionality of the infrastructure of the Administration of ZATO Seversk to the maximum extent.

Information systems "Electronic Interaction" and "Electronic Document Management" were transferred to the certified FSTEC Russia platform Astra Linux Special Edition. Built-in mechanisms information security have significantly increased the level of security and stability of the resource. This allowed Mask Safe specialists to conduct certification tests of information systems for protection requirements information in accordance with Order of the FSTEC of Russia dated February 11, 2013 No. 17.
