"The Russian oils" build ERP based on 1C

The Homnet Consulting company started project implementation of complex automation of Russian Oils group based on the 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8 software product. Within the first stage of the project blocks of accounting and tax accounting at all enterprises of group are implemented, 110 jobs are automated.

The main activities of Russian Oils group are production and sale of vegetable oil and other products of processing olive (meal) in the internal and external markets. Today are a part of group of companies: Shopping Mall Russkiye masla with three branches (in Stavropol, Krasnodar Krai) and also three oil extraction plants: Florentina, "Nevinnomyssk oil extraction plant" and Oil of Stavropol Territory.

Often activity of the large geographically distributed organization is influenced by problems of methodological and technical character. In particular, the large number of business processes and remote divisions create difficulties at collection of information and its further processing. The Russian Oils group faced such problem: each enterprise kept financial accounting on places in separate non-standard programs on the 1C: Enterprise 7.7 platform. With a certain frequency of the database of the enterprises were sent by mail to management company for the subsequent consolidation of the reporting which was performed manually. The lack of uniform information base complicated process of collecting and consolidation of the reporting (there was no unified plan of accounts, the regulated reference books), and use of different programs complicated their support and updating.

For elimination of this problem the leadership team of "The Russian oils" made the decision on creation of a common information space of the organization and implementation of uniform corporate standards of business processes. The Russian Oils group at the end of 2009 announced the tender among the leading partners of 1C Company for development and deployment of a single automated system for conducting accounting, tax and management accounting at all enterprises of group.

The tender was won by the Homnet Consulting company which suggested to implement the project in a short time using the complex software product "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8" in several stages: 1. Implementation of standard blocks of accounting and tax accounting at the enterprises of group of companies. 2. Carrying out preproject inspection, drawing up technical specifications. 3. Development of a prototype of an information system. Completion of the software product according to technical specifications. 4. User training to work in the program

For project implementation the Homnet Consulting company created a project team from analysts, data domains specialists, an implementation team, consultants, development team and the project manager. At all stages of the project about eight specialists will be involved.

Today Homnet Consulting completed the first phase of the project. Specialists implemented blocks of accounting and tax accounting "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8" at all enterprises for production of oil and in management company. Configured the distributed base - exchange is executed in the automatic mode.

For work of staff of the enterprises "Russian Oils" in the new software product the reference information and also the account balances from the previous accounting systems was postponed for the beginning of 2010. Based on "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8" 110 jobs are automated.

In parallel with works within the first stage preproject inspection of a system was executed. Specialists Homnet Consulting described the automated business processes regarding operational production accounting at the enterprise, described the main business processes of the company regarding accounting and management accounting and also necessary changes standard "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8" for compliance to business processes of Russkiye masla Group.

In plans - automation of a chain of production using automatic scales, sensors of the automated laboratory installations.
