On April 5, 2021, Schwabe Holding of Rostec State Corporation announced its participation in a project to create a "smart city" in the administrative center of the Tashkent region - the city of Nurafshan.

The signatures of the tripartite agreement in the presence Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov of the Minister of Investment and Foreign trade Uzbekistan Affairs Sardor Umurzakov were put by the First Deputy General Director of Schwabe - Director of Production industrial and Policy Vadim Kalyugin, representative of UzEkolos Artem Tonyan and Head of the Directorate for to construction the Administrative Center of Tashkent Region hakimiyate of Nurafshan Sarvar Kadyrov Kadyrov.

Under the terms of the agreement, the Schwabe holding will offer a number of products for the implementation of the project, including optics, medical and industrial equipment, as well as comprehensive solutions for the smart city - lighting, energy saving, safety, water treatment and sanitation systems, "Vadim Kalyugin shared the results of the signing.

Nurafshon Business City is the first project in Uzbekistan with elements of a "smart city." The total area of ​ ​ the project is estimated at 246.2 hectares. As Sarvar Kadyrov emphasized, the technology of the collection system of communications, planned for implementation by Russian partners, will be a new stage in the development of urban planning technologies in Uzbekistan.

The construction and equipping of the administrative center in the city of Nurafshan is a large-scale comprehensive project that requires professionalism and dedication from each of the parties. Given the competencies and experience of the specialists of the Schwabe Holding, their participation in the project guarantees the timely fulfillment of the tasks at the highest level, said Artem Tonyan.

The project can involve energy-saving lighting equipment "Schwabe," elements of an intelligent transport system, including smart traffic lights, photo and video recording systems, as well as water treatment and water disposal systems, medical equipment and medical special vehicles manufactured by Rostec companies.
