Development of an integrated fuel control system for mobile fuel filling stations and fuel distribution warehouses

Exotron Technology has developed a comprehensive fuel control system at mobile fuel stations and fuel distribution warehouses. It is based on Galileosky terminals. The solution allows you to track the movement of fuel online and quickly warn of theft. Galileosky announced this on December 8, 2021.

Fuel control sensors are used to obtain fuel volume data in the tank. This method helps to track the theft of combustible materials during refueling of equipment, but does not allow to control the drains during the movement of the car. Through the reverse fuel line, drivers risk losing up to 40 liters of fuel. It was necessary to develop an accounting system that would monitor fuel volumes throughout the traffic chain.

Exotron Technology experts solved this problem by installing an additional sensor to remove fuel consumption data from the engine. Information is collected from fuel level sensors, flow meter and nozzles via CAN bus. Using Galileosky 7x terminals and Exzotron Bot cloud system, the data enters the control program and is displayed in tabular and graphical form in real time. Algorithm allows to compare fuel movement based on readings of fuel intake and service meters and actual readings of fuel level sensor in fuel and lubricant stores. If the indicators differ, fuel is drained.

The technology is supplemented by the mechanisms for designing fuel distribution column assemblies and tanks, which can be combined into a fuel and lubricants warehouse. The solution allows you to instantly identify emergency situations in the operation of equipment throughout the chain and situations related to fuel theft.

As part of the solution, mechanisms have been developed to control the access and control the shipment of fuel by balance on the fuel map. Galileosky terminals support remote control of the shipment limit and display its data on the signage. Thanks to the Exzotron Bot service, Galileosky devices support online access control. Devices themselves request and receive information about shipping parameters on the server.

As of December 2021, more than 300 Galileosky terminals have already been connected to the Exzotron Bot cloud system. The service registered more than 200 Telegram users, 171 companies and more than 8,000 fuel cards.

Using Galileosky devices

Galileosky on April 7, 2021 announced that together with Exzotron, they control the shipment of fuel to gas stations using Galileosky devices. The monitoring system allows you to set daily and absolute limits, count the issued and filled fuel.

Galileosky devices are used as controls on stationary columns of gas stations. Plastic card readers, starter interlock and valve for starting and ending fuel shipment are connected to them. As a result, only an authorized employee with an active limit on the card can start refueling. In case of any violations or falsifications, the issuance of fuel is blocked.

Two variations with fuel control are provided for the mobile fuel truck. The first is the use of an ASW liquid flowmeter, a signal pickup device and a double-circuit valve for accurate filling. Such valves allow you to pour fuel with an accuracy of several grams. This simplifies checks and minimizes differences in documents.

An alternative is a volumeter-based solution. Volomers are more reliable, accurate and serve longer, and also maintain calibration accuracy with small flows of fuel. Their resource is more than seven million liters. For example, for 10 liters of fuel, the error is 20 grams.

In addition to flowmeters and identification systems, fuel level sensors were installed. Thus, by comparing the readings of the two devices, it is possible to detect the theft of fuel from the tank.

Even in the absence of GSM, the terminal monitors the process and transmits the accumulated information to the server when it enters the communication.

Thanks to the terminal-based monitoring system, the client sees data on the work of trucks, drivers and can control the use of fuel for its intended purpose.
