More than 900 automated jobs in social institutions of Primorsky Krai transferred to domestic software

2021: Complete IT migration to domestic software

The company "Information Center," specializing in the provision of services in the field of information protection, on April 12, 2021 announced the completion of the project of migration of IT systems of social institutions of Primorsky Krai to domestic software. As part of the import substitution program, more than 900 automated jobs were transferred to the updated information infrastructure in the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy of the Primorsky Territory, which is the customer of the work, and the institutions subordinate to it.

Migration of IT systems of coastal social institutions was implemented as part of the import substitution program, in accordance with the order of the Regional Administration "On the implementation of measures for the transition of the Government of Primorsky Krai, the apparatus of the Administration of Primorsky Krai, the apparatus of the Governor of Primorsky Krai, the executive authorities of Primorsky Krai to the use of domestic software." The requirements for the project are to maintain the operability of the existing infrastructure, provide a set level of security, mitigate the transition period for end users without reducing productivity.

During the implementation project, the following stages were implemented:

• pilot operation of a technological solution with representatives of the customer, identification of failures, revision, formation of a single solution;
• preparation of customer infrastructure to ensure stable and comfortable operation of users;
• scheduling of transition works taking into account loading and plans of all involved persons, beginning of user data backup;
• transfer of workplaces to the prepared technological solution;
• Provide technical support on all emerging issues during transition and trial operation.

Specialists of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy of Primorsky Krai and the Information Center formed transition points - the transfer of jobs was carried out in stages in such a way as to ensure the most mild transition, without violating existing information processes. Experts of the Information Center, on the basis of a security-certified operating system, prepared, tested and adapted an assembly that allows specialists in the field to continue to fulfill their duties in the absence of skills in working with imported software.

During the implementation of the project, the support of users and responsible persons was continued, the process of exchange of experience between specialists in the field was established, recommendations, assemblies and solutions for optimizing work were broadcast. More than half of the jobs were transferred in a pandemic that significantly complicated the possibility of performing work, but the coordinated actions of the implementation team and specialists of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy of the Primorsky Territory made it possible to fulfill the task qualitatively and on time, "said Koshelev Semyon, executive director of Information Center LLC.
