2021: Transition to a mobile digital solution PlanRadar

On April 14, 2021, it became known that the FGC North-West group of companies, the St. Petersburg division of the Russian developer, as part of the implementation of the business digitalization strategy, decided to switch to a mobile digital solution for construction control with support for BIM technology - PlanRadar.

In the arsenal of the GK FGC North-West, a number of software systems are already being used, to which the mobile platform PlanRadar has been added. Thanks to the possibilities of integrating PlanRadar into the existing landscape of IT solutions, FGC North-West is a cloud-based digital solution and will be the main mobile digital tool for construction control and technical supervision at the group's facilities under construction.

The transition to the PlanRadar solution is primarily due to the availability of functionality for working with the 3D BIM model, and the platform capabilities that close the needs of the main business processes of construction control of our development company. Given that we are building several large residential complexes at the same time, it is extremely important for us to ensure that the timing and quality of the work is respected. Therefore, the automation of the quality control of the work of contractors, the maintenance of electronic document management and the process of acceptance of finished objects and apartments are a priority for us. The PlanRadar solution provides operational construction management and provides feedback to the construction site. In addition, the time for documentation and coordination is reduced due to a single communication platform between specialists involved in the project. Another important aspect is that the product can be integrated through REST APIs into our IT architecture, said Yulia Golubeva, head of the analytical center of the FGC North-West.

The application is PlanRadar developed with the participation of professionals in the field of construction management from many countries and unites the best world practices. Realizing that effective communication and timely information in real time are important for successful project management, we were able to combine on one platform the capabilities of both documenting events and tasks at the site, creating reports and acts literally "in two clicks," and communication directly in the application, without switching to mail or instant messengers. At the same time, all information is instantly synchronized thanks to the "cloud" architecture of PlanRadar. It should be noted that our special achievement was the receipt of the international certificate ISO 27001.
