2021: Creating a digital twin elevator complex

Demetra-Holding and Korus Consulting Group of Companies completed a project to create a digital twin elevator complex. This was announced by Korus Consulting on April 15, 2021.

Demetra Holding systematically conducts a digital transformation of the business, increasing the transparency of logistics and creating services, including in the development of a network of its own elevators.

During the implementation of the project, the market for elevator capacities of the country was "digitized" and a model was formed to determine the optimal locations of constructions new elevators. This digital solution is distinctive not only for, agro-industrial industry Russia but also for the global practice of using tools of the category Supply Chain Design.

The project is one of the steps to improve the efficiency of the agro-industrial sector based on digital technologies. Elevators will allow not only to create additional storage capacity, but also to increase the share of shuttle rail dispatches. This will help us to plan more carefully trade and logistics partnerships in those regions of Russia where purchases of raw materials are of greatest interest, "said Vitaly Sergeychuk, Director General of Demetra Holding.
