The consulting company WillMore completed an implementation project of Microsoft Dynamics NAV in Iltalon.Osnovnoy company activity of the company production, trade in wooden interroom doors, metal doors, interroom aluminum partitions is. Besides, the company performs works on installation and service maintenance of products offered by it.

Main objectives of an implementation project of Microsoft Dynamics NAV were:

  • Increase in transparency of business processes of the company;
  • Work of all divisions of the company in unified information environment, including managements, purchasing departments, sale, production, warehouse divisions;
  • Automation of calculation and accounting of cost value of materials, semi-finished products and finished goods;
  • Increase in level of control of production process, in particular, behind compliance of the material consumption and component parts and an exit of finished goods;
  • Increase in level of control of the main business processes: a warehouse status, a status of settlement with partners, sales, accomplishment of the budget.

The Microsoft Dynamics NAV system supports base of clients which is separated into groups: dealers, designers, retail clients. For each customer group the price list is provided.

During the project integration of Microsoft Dynamics NAV with the corporate website on which the product catalog is provided was performed. The client can select model and issue to order on the website then all data will be loaded into a system for further processing by managers. Besides, for an exception of double entry the Microsoft Dynamics NAV system was integrated with 1C in which accounting is kept.

Production of the company is characterized by true flexibility and specifics that needed to be implemented in the Microsoft Dynamics NAV system. Production planning is performed on the basis of date of order placement, specifics of production of separate components and existence of all required materials. The doors which are selected for production are divided afterwards into pallets by similar technical parameters. After that for a warehouse the sheet of selection of door cloths forms and the work order on each of production sites is formed.

One of key tasks was automation of a warehouse. For storage of materials, semi-finished products and finished goods in the company several warehouses are used. Before implementation of Microsoft Dynamics NAV of warehouse spaces was not enough, and limitation of this resource complicated calculations for formation of safety stocks.

The company practically does not work "for a warehouse", but is forced to store considerable stocks of finished goods for the reason:

  • need always to approve the specific delivery date with retail consumers
  • need of formation of the delivery commensurable with a vehicle capacity for sending to wholesale clients.

System implementation allowed to optimize process of distribution of warehouse stocks and to optimize that excluded a problem of shortage of warehouse.

Thanks to implementation of Microsoft Dynamics NAV quick access to information on activity of the company was provided (cost value, the prices of sales, the customer base, cash receipt). It considerably increased efficiency of work of managers. Besides, the accuracy and timeliness of information transfer between divisions on key questions was provided: purchase of materials, terms delivery of goods, quality of rendering services, effected payments. On the basis of data in the Microsoft Dynamics NAV system there is an automatic charge of additional payments to employees.
