2021: Provision of additional funding to Ukraine in the amount of $155 million
On April 20, 2021, it became known that the United States, through the US Agency for International Development (USAID), announced the provision of additional development funding to Ukraine in the amount of $155 million.
Additional resources will be used in 2021 to address a number of key issues in various areas of Ukraine's development:
- supporting economic growth and improving the health of Ukrainians - $34 million;
- It is planned to spend funds, in particular, on the reconstruction of Ukraine after the pandemic, improving the quality of basic medical services; Increased transparency and economic opportunities in the energy, agriculture and financial sectors; development of the land market .
- improvement of measures to counter corruption - $14 million;
- Funds will be used to reform and protect anti-corruption institutions, reduce corruption in the health sector, develop e-government platforms.
- countering "Russian aggression" - $63 million;
