ELAR corporation completes trial operation of the first stage of the Information system "Electronic Archive of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District Yugra".
At the end of 2009 the company won an auction on execution of works for creation of the information system "Electronic Archive of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug". The equipment and an end-to-end system of automation of work of archive service was supplied to the State archive which is as department a part of Management for archives.
With commissioning of all queues of a System daily work of employees, processes of storage, completing, accounting and use of information in archive organization will be completely automated. The electronic archive will also give the chance more quickly to execute requests of citizens and the organizations, will ensure safety of archive documents.
A system assumes formation of the automated integrated explanatory notes on the basis of the inventories, directories, card files, guides, reference books, databases which are available in Management for archives and the State archive of Yugra. At the moment inventories of all funds which are stored in archive are transferred to an electronic form and work on scanning and loading in the System of electronic images of documents is conducted. For scanning of documents the Planskan ELAR book scanner is installed, and long storage of the received images is provided with specialized storage system of information on BD disks.
