The main task of the Kuzbass Medical Information and Analytical Center (HAUZ KMIAC) State Autonomous Healthcare Institution is the development of the regional segment of the unified health information system of the Russian Federation (EGISZ), including the development, refinement, maintenance of software products, provision of information security of personal data, development of a unified telemedical network of the Kemerovo region. The performance of computing capacities and resources of the existing data center ceased to provide growing volumes of current calculations, significantly restrained the development of medical information systems and services in the health sector of the region. For the data center organization, it was necessary to design and build a complex of engineering systems, deliver computing power and storage systems that meet the following requirements: reliability, quality, performance, high level of technical support, warranty obligations of manufacturers.

Specialists of LLC TSIB prepared a system project describing the main concept of the future data center. A room was selected to accommodate a complex of engineering systems and computing capacities, a construction task for its repair was developed. The company's experts developed and implemented data center engineering systems, including centralized uninterrupted power supply, a system of false floors, telecommunication cabinets, a climatic and ventilation system, a structured cable system and a physical security system.

KMIAC engineers, based on the project's servers, storage systems, and virtualization systems, created a failover cluster that provided computing power to host 14 information systems and services. Taking into account the newly acquired and existing equipment, the total total capacity of data center storage systems was 1.08PB, the total amount of RAM - 50TB.

The created data center allowed the customer to ensure the availability and security of information systems and services in the healthcare sector, create a reserve for their further expansion and development, and increase the fault tolerance of the IP. The target users of this data center are more than 23,000 specialists from 300 state medical institutions, commercial medical clinics and pharmacies of the Kemerovo region.
