The Homnet Consulting company completed the project of creation of the uniform centralized database of the European media group on a basis "1C: Payroll and HR Management 8". In a project deliverable head office EMG received full operating control over payroll in all regions online and also an opportunity to create uniform structure of the personnel.
The European Media Group (EMG) is the largest non-state Russian broadcasting holding. Includes four national broadcasting networks Europe Plus, Retro FM, Radio 7, the FM Cake (Moscow, St. Petersburg, Chelyabinsk) and radio station Fresh radio and also a sales house of Media Plus. The holding the European media group consists of head office in Moscow and seven large regional representative offices, in each of which accounting and tax accounting is automated using the Microsoft Dynamics NAV system. The central database is in Moscow, regional representative offices work with it within the terminal session. HR records and payroll calculation in representations and head office were automated based on the modifed configuration "1C: Payroll and Personnel 7.7".
Working according to such scheme, specialists of the European media group faced complexity of data acquisition on employees and charges from regional divisions. For this reason the company management made the decision to pass to the modern platform "1C:Enterprise 8" and to implement the "1C: Payroll and HR Management 8" software product. As the partner in automation the European media group selected Homnet Consulting company.
Within the project specialists Homnet Consulting performed the following works: transferred data from "1C: Enterprise 7.7" to "1C:Enterprise 8" using the developed rules of data transfer and also finished standard functionality "1C: Payroll and HR Management 8" according to features of accounting of EMG. Also they held testing and setup of "1C: Payroll and HR Management 8" base, configured unloading of data in the Navision system and trained users in work in the program.
The information system is put into commercial operation. The number of users makes 16 people today. The HR department of EMG received the instrument of automation of routine tasks, preparation of reports on workers with different conditions of selection and sorting. The services which are engaged in budgeting — a uniform format of the output data for integration into budgets.
