2021: Release of the world's first control software for cooking time

In early May 2021, the developer of robot chefs Miso Robotics released, according to the company, the world's first culinary AI platform capable of automatically detecting and tracking the addition of products during the preparation of dishes. The solution is called CookRight, it is offered as a cloud service (SaaS).

CookRight is positioned as an advanced platform that includes machine learning, sensors and computer vision so that cooks can track grilled food and automatically monitor cooking time. The idea is to simplify kitchen operations and inventory.

Robot cook developer Miso Robotics released CookRight software to control cooking time

Miso Robotics states that this software helps prevent chewing and, worse, underfiring of hamburger cutlets. According to the US Centers for Disease Prevention and Control, every year about one in six Americans falls ill, 128 thousand people are hospitalized and 3 thousand die from diseases of food origin. The main reason for these cases is contact with bacteria found in improperly processed or insufficiently prepared food. One such failure can immediately put an end to the work of the restaurant, noted in Miso Robotics.

CookRight processes large amounts of data and issues warnings that allow cooks to monitor food preparation and correctly fulfill orders. The platform simplifies culinary tasks and provides operational assistance through the user interface, helping employees focus on speed, accuracy and quality of order execution. By implementing the platform, operators and workers benefit from an optimized approach to training that reduces time and financial costs while improving cooking performance, according to a press release.[1]
