Mosenergosbyt constructed the powerful DPC

JSC Mosenergosbyt and Jet Infosystems company completed the complex project on creation of the data processing center (DPC). Within implementation of a new hardware and software system complete amount of works from construction preparation of the premises before creation of a complex of the engineering systems was executed. The failsafe scalable DPC complies with all necessary technical requirements of operation of the server hardware ensuring functioning of the most critical business applications.

Due to growth of volume of the processed information the management of JSC Mosenergosbyt made the decision on construction of the new uniform data processing center (DPC) for the centralized service of all business applications. For this purpose the company purchased the additional hardware with strict requirements to operation.

At the organization of conditioning systems and regular power supply not only current demands, but also need to increase capacities in the future were considered. The conditioning system is implemented based on the energy saving chill systems that saves company funds Mosenergosbyt and has less impact on the environment. All engineering systems are constructed taking into account reservation a component. It allows to provide operability of DPC in case of failure of one of elements.

Works were conducted in the office building of the company that imposed a number of restrictions. So, for example, contractors of the project needed to keep quiet in working time and not to prevent work of employees. And at construction and transportation of large-size elements of DPC such strict requirements for operation of premises as ensuring safety of internal finishing of the premises were considered. All works were carefully planned and quickly implemented. A part of works was carried out at night or the days off.

In the near future Mosenergosbyt is going to refuse completely server premises at remote offices of the company for benefit of the centralized DPC. The distributed server network requires big labor costs on service while more conveniently and more effectively to service failsafe DPC with the powerful and reliable server hardware and to fulfill the requirements to operation within one platform. If for service of business processes it is required to increase production capacities, it can be made thanks to the scaling options put in the solution. For example, shortly the company is going to implement a billing system which will require the hi-tech equipment.
