2021: The opportunity to call an operational service for loved ones

In the suburbs, you can call an operational service for your loved ones through the 112 MO application. This was announced on May 14, 2021 by the Ministry of State Administration, Information Technology and Communications of the Moscow Region.

After refining the 112 MO mobile application, users became available features that allow them to respond to emergencies faster, call operational services for their contacts and activate an alarm.

In digitalization of all areas of development of the Moscow region, the priority remains the safety of people, especially in emergency circumstances when it is impossible to slow down. With the mobile application "112 MO," a one-touch call of special services became available to residents of the Moscow Region. After updating the platform, users had the opportunity to call an emergency operational service to their loved ones whose number is indicated in the "connected contacts" of the application - for this there was a button "My contact needs help," said Maxim Rymar, Minister of Public Administration, Information Technology and Communications of the Moscow Region.

The option "My contact needs help" is available when clicking on the "112" button in the application - it must be selected from the drop-down menu. The button calls the operator to the "associated subscriber" - this is the contact that the user makes in the "112 MO" application. Another addition is one-touch alarm activation. It may be needed if a person cannot call for help on their own. A long press on the "I'm here, I need help" button calls the 112 service and turns on the countdown on the phone screen before the sound begins. The signal can be stopped by pressing the countdown.

Also in the mobile application, an automatic warning began to operate, reporting the level of weather danger: critical, high, medium, low.

The mobile application of the Rescue Service of the Moscow Region is another convenient way to communicate with operators 112. As of May 2021, the application allows users to see the movement of an ambulance, emergency gas network service crews on your call, know where your family and friends are, see their location on an interactive map, call a doctor at home, promptly report the incident, call the necessary emergency services and much more, - commented the head of the Main Directorate of Civil Protection of the Moscow Region with the rank of minister Sergey Samolevsky.
