Turkey buys Russian devices to treat complications after coronavirus

According to Sergey Burnos, Deputy Director of the New Business Support Department, cooperation with Turkish clinics will further significantly expand the use of Tianox in the international market

"Tianox" generates nitric oxide used in the treatment of pulmonary diseases right in the hospital ward, in the patient's bed. The device produces the gas mixture necessary for therapy at room temperature, extracting nitrogen from atmospheric air.

Standard nitrogen monoxide is produced at chemical enterprises, and then in cylinders under high pressure it is centrally delivered to medical institutions, explains Valentina Novikova, Candidate of Medical Sciences. The ability to generate nitrogen monoxide directly in the hospital significantly increases the effectiveness of the therapeutic effect due to its regularity.

In addition, according to her, delivering cylinders to remote hospitals, especially in winter, is not an easy task: low temperatures, drifts on the roads, etc. "Tianox," as Novikova said, excludes situations when all the cylinders are empty, and the patient needs to conduct a course. "Tianox" can be used in conjunction with a ventilator.[1]
