The resident of the Skolkovo Foundation, the Russian manufacturer of industrial robots Aripix Robotics, on May 20, 2021 announced the completion of the implementation of the robotic complex at the plant of ZET Energo. The implementation of the development allowed to increase productivity by 30% and reduce the delivery time.

The complex consists of an Aripix A1 robot manipulator, a specially designed alignment conveyor and a device that counts and stacks metal plates. The development was put into operation, works around the clock and, according to manufacturers, will pay off in a year.

The task of ZET Energo has become a real creative project for us. It was necessary not only to introduce the industrial robot Aripix A1, but to develop a robotic system capable of receiving metal plates that are thrown out of the press at a speed of 120 plates per minute. To solve this problem, in addition to the robot manipulator, we developed a special alignment conveyor, counter and stack former in one device. We tried to effectively solve the problem of our partner and are glad that we met his expectations, said Andrey Spiridonov, founder and CEO of Aripix Robotics.

The robotic complex minimizes manual labor, reduces the physical load on the remaining operators on the site and reduces the influence of the human factor on production - downtime, injury, personnel flow. Due to the absence of intermediate movements of the plates, the quality of the surface of the manufactured products was improved.
