Krasnogorsk plant named after S. A. Zvereva (KMZ, known for the production of the legendary Zenit cameras) launched the first corporate data center designed to automate all processes of product lifecycle management and enterprise management. This was announced on May 24, 2021 by the Rostec press service (the state corporation includes the Schwabe holding, which in turn owns KMZ).
It is noted that the Krasnogorsk plant became the first Schwabe enterprise with its own data center. The project was implemented jointly with the company "National Industrial Leasing" (NPL), which acted as a financial partner and provides long-term leases of data centers, infrastructure and software. It is noted that the financial lease scheme is chosen in order to avoid significant one-time economic costs for the purchase and maintenance of the system, as well as to provide the necessary level of service and fault tolerance.
With its own data center KMZ, it has acquired the computing power and LAN bandwidth that the enterprise needs to implement product lifecycle management () PLM and enterprise business process management () systems. BPM
The enterprise data center will also provide the capacity for the planned virtualization of more than 1,000 workspaces in the coming years. The server includes network infrastructure components and computing capacity, on which numerous software systems are deployed.
The introduction of equipment is dictated by new tasks and trends, including the automation of business processes. Modern digital technologies will transform the processes of design, design and technological preparation of production, enterprise management and corresponding information flows and bring them to the advanced level. As a result, the new data center will become one of the factors that ensure our competitive advantage in the market, "said Alexander Novikov, CEO of KMZ.[1] |
