Kazakhtelecom creates Business Process Management Suite using ARIS

JSC Kazakhtelecom within the program for implementation of process management passed the national telecom operator of Kazakhstan from BPM products of Casewise company to products of the ARIS platform of the IDS Scheer company entering into the Software AG Group group. During the project consultants of IDS Scheer created models of processes of the telecom operator and transmitted to a project team of Kazakhtelecom methodology of the detailed description of business processes through ARIS. Kazakhtelecom was engaged in the description of processes for their standardization and automation in the Oracle BPA system based on the principles of SOA.

"At first as the contractor on this project the Sinergica company using products of Casewise company at the description of processes worked for us, – the chief executive on SOA of Kazakhtelecom Tarasov Vladimir tells. – However the efficiency of this work was low, and implementations of a technique of process modeling based on Casewise, in fact, did not occur. Then we in addition involved specialists of IDS Scheer with their technique and the products ARIS, and they for half a year described processes and implemented corporate environment of modeling, control and modification of business processes".

Consultants of IDS Scheer got to work on October 15, 2009. They developed and transmitted methodology detailed process descriptions through ARIS – "Agreement on Modelling", developed models of processes of the top level, model of processes of provision of services of the second level, scenarios and detailed models of two end-to-end processes of Kazakhtelecom, scripts for automatic generation of regulations of processes and job descriptions. For two end-to-end business processes the technology of conversion of the process model created in ARIS in the performed BPEL process automated in the ERP system of Oracle is implemented.
