2021: Reduced network downtime
On May 24, 2021, Trinity announced that its specialists had developed a system of settings and instructions for Russian Light network equipment, which reduced network equipment downtime by up to 2-3 minutes without the need to upgrade and replace existing equipment, thus minimizing the risks of delayed shipment of products associated with the operation of IT infrastructure in the company's warehouses. Trinity also provided training for Russian Light engineers in the process of setting up clusters and access points.
Russian Light is doing everything to be closer to its consumers, so it needs to consistently maintain communication with all branches and minimize the risk of product delay in warehouses. For this reason, faced with difficulties in operating the IT infrastructure, Russian Light chose Trinity as a contractor.
{{quote 'IT infrastructure plays a big role in the work of distributors. And in working with customers throughout the country, its importance increases many times. It was critical for us to minimize financial risks, especially in such difficult times for business. Trinity experts offered us the optimal solution and perfectly configured and implemented even taking into account remote work, "says Alexei Savchenko, head of the Russian Light telecommunications department. }}
The Trinity team implemented the project in two stages. The first step was to deploy test zones in her laboratory using customer equipment, testing various scenarios of equipment failure and developing solutions for controller failure. The second stage was the preparation of instructions on setting the clustering parameters of controllers, the procedure for backpacking and restoring parameters, as well as training Russian Light employees.
The instructions prepared by Trinity engineers allowed the company to quickly eliminate faults and, therefore, minimize losses from warehouse downtime in case of equipment failure. Wi-Fi
The project was very difficult. Basically, this was due to the fact that Russian World was limited in the choice of business plans for upgrading the IT infrastructure. However, this did not cancel the fact that it was necessary to act immediately, since the risk of product outage in warehouses could not be allowed. Despite all the difficulties, we coped with the implementation of the project in a short time and at a high level, "says Igor Abramov, technical director of Trinity. |
