2021: Operational Defect Prevention System Announcement

On June 2, 2021, Sber introduced an artificial intelligence-based operational defect prevention system.

The system is adapted for seamless integration into the business processes of companies and automates the processing and verification of documents in accounting, financial, personnel and HR services, logistics and purchasing, insurance and other industries where electronic document exchange takes place.

The universal solution automatically checks the correctness and completeness of documents, the presence of signatures and seals on them. As a result, manual mechanical labor is eliminated, document verification time is dramatically reduced, errors and operational losses are reduced, employee productivity is growing, as well as loyalty of customers and partners. The system is embedded in the internal outline of companies and operates autonomously, so that confidential documents do not need to be transferred to external resources.

In Sbera, this system has already been integrated into various processes for working with legal entities (opening settlement accounts, concluding salary agreements, lending trade acquiring). The system is already being implemented in Sber ecosystem companies, and a partnership with the subsidiary "" Business environment made it possible to offer this product to customers.

We continue to expand our suite of AI tools for business automation. Our main task in this case is to remove the whole routine, increase labor productivity and free up employee time for more important things. Our operational defect prevention system is doing a great job. Like many other services, we first tested it on ourselves. As a result, the bank's operating expenses for connecting services decreased by 220 million rubles a year, in addition, the satisfaction of colleagues who no longer need to engage in mechanical labor increased multiple times. Now we are bringing the system to the market, which nationwide will save billions of rubles and millions of man-hours, "said Anatoly Popov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sberbank.
