Moscow warehouse "Phoenix Contact RUS" with various types of storage (shelf, gravitational, frontal racks; vertical elevator systems Kardex) holds up to 2500 active items.

Due to the lack of an automation system in the warehouse, with the regular growth of the product range, the company could not optimally use the available resources. With the implementation of WMS, Phoenix Contact RUS planned not only to automate the execution of warehouse operations, but also to organize operational control of the warehouse condition and effective management of warehouse personnel. It was also necessary that the implemented system control Kardex equipment and KBS lighting equipment.

Automation of all basic processes of the Phoenix Contact RUS warehouse was implemented as part of the typical WMS functionality from AXELOT. AXELOT also developed and implemented Kardex warehouse management algorithms.

Since the company uses the services of a third-party carrier to deliver products, it is important to note the integration of WMS from AXELOT with the service of the transport company implemented as part of the project: now the warehouse system transfers information about the estimated volume of cargo to this service.

The WMS system implements weight control when packing orders, which allows you to perform additional control of assembly completeness.

The integration of WMS from AXELOT with the corporate information system of the company was made through the DATAREON ESB solution (service data bus). This software product allows you to ensure stability and completeness of information exchange between different systems, organize their interaction at a single point, which significantly increases the overall performance of the company's information circuit.

As a result of automation, warehouse management was able to manage the facility in real time. The interaction with the transport company service is optimized, which made it possible to reduce the number of errors in the formation of transportation requests. All used information systems now operate in a single information field, which ensures stable data exchange.
