Spectec and the Military and technical university at Federal Agency for Special Construction began works on implementation of information management systems as maintenance and repairs at three enterprises of Federal Agency for Special Construction. The project is executed on the basis of the software package TRIM-PMS.

VTU at Federal Agency for Special Construction and NPP Spectec cooperate in the field of information technologies since November, 2008. Within the partnership agreement the software package TRIM is used by higher education institution in educational process, in VTU Research center as the exercise machine of the information management system maintenance and repairs (MRO ISU). In particular, the exercise machine is involved in the training program of "Operation and Repair of the Construction and Road Equipment" department, at faculty of retraining and advanced training of specialists of Federal Agency for Special Construction.

The second direction of cooperation of partners is information technology implementation in management practice of a MRO at the enterprises of Spetsstroy. In June, 2010 the agreement on the beginning of implementation projects of ISU of a MRO at three such enterprises – Federal State Unitary Enterprise Management of Special Construction No. 7 at Federal Agency for Special Construction, Federal State Unitary Enterprise Management of Special Construction No. 35 at Federal Agency for Special Construction, and in 'Management of special works No. 414' Federal State Unitary Enterprise USST № 4 pri Federal Agency for Special Construction branch is reached. Activity of the enterprises is directed to accomplishment of construction plans in such directions as complex all-construction and special works in the mountain area (USS No. 7), unique works on construction of strategic objects of Plesetsk Cosmodrome and development of its infrastructure (USS No. 35), hydrotechnical construction in the Southern Federal District (USR No. 414). In this regard an important task of the enterprises is control and providing proper indicators of readiness of fixed assets – concrete productions, the construction equipment, motor transport, special machines. For information support of this task and in general process management of a MRO at the enterprises the decision on implementation and use of the TRIM-PMS complex is made.

The TRIM-PMS complex is the ready platform for the organization of management of a MRO including the software of TRIM, regulations of use of TRIM when planning, carrying out a MRO and efficiency analysis of the MRO system, a set of indicators of KPI measured in result of accomplishment of regulations, a set of standard forms (documents) used when carrying out a MRO and other elements.

At the moment Spectec delivered the licenses to use TRIM-PMS to the enterprises of Spetsstroy stated above in volume on 9 users.

Specialists of VTU Research center began work on inspection of the enterprises, collection of data on a MRO and the operated fixed assets on places with the middle of June, 2010, to involvement in this process of employees and officials of the enterprises. On this basis, with participation of consultants of Spectec, databases of future information systems will be created. In an effect specialists of VTU will unroll them together with the software of TRIM in workplaces of users and will provide training.

In return, the staff of VTU Research center participating in the project from the university assumes to use the project as the platform for collecting of objective, real data on failures and operability of construction machines and the equipment, efficiency of the applied strategy of a MRO, researches in the field of complex reliability augmentation of machines.
