2021: Launch of CASCO policy online with Tinkoff Insurance partner

The Ready4 insurance platform on June 10, 2021 announced the launch of technology that allows the insurer to issue a CASCO policy on their own without involving a representative of the insurer or an expert leaving. The process of issuing a policy is completely transferred to digital mode - the insured independently calculates the cost, carries out payment and makes an inspection of the vehicle. This will make the purchase fast and save the motorist from the need to travel to the office of the insurance company or wait for the car expert to leave.

The process of issuing a CASCO policy through an aggregator consists of several simple stages, each of which is automated to simplify the user's actions: first, it is proposed to introduce a car license plate, and the system automatically "adds" the necessary information about the car. After choosing the insurance company and the cost, the insured is invited to inspect the car. To do this, you need to take 16 photos of the vehicle through an intuitive application interface with angle hints. After checking the photos by the expert, the insured is sent an inspection certificate, which he signs in the application with a simple electronic signature through SMS. At the end of all steps, the customer receives insurance documents in the mail.

The client path when issuing CASCO is simplified and takes no more than an hour, taking into account self-inspection, and does not require the involvement of a representative of the insurer or an on-site auto expert, Ready4 emphasized.

"The organization of a full-fledged online process for CASCO is an important step in the insurance aggregator market. The technology is fully implemented with our partner - Tinkoff Insurance JSC. Our task in the near future is to organize a similar process with other insurers. A unified method of working with different insurance companies will allow the client, having entered the data once, to inspect his car on his own and choose the insurer of interest, who will accept the ready-made package of documents and photos, "said Pavel Ozerov, co-owner of the Ready4 platform.

As of June 2021, up to 15 CASCO offers from various insurance companies can be received on the Ready4 insurance platform. Most of them are available for registration through an employee, but gradually they will go into full-fledged online, as implemented with Tinkoff Insurance.
